These paintings are inspired by my ownership and love of greyhounds. These sweet, magical, beautiful and goofy creatures are the oldest dog breed on earth, reaching back directly to the pharoah dogs of ancient Egypt. They were were deified in the form of the protective god Anubis and his goddess wife, Anput.
